Songwriting University offers a unique corporate team building experience. In a two hour songwriting session our hit songwriting faculty will write an original song with the participation of your corporate event attendees. It is a fun, entertaining team building experience that you, your employees and or business associates will always remember...the day they wrote their first song!
“Kinder”
Recently, Eric Spiegel presented a song idea to Songwriting U. writers Joe Beck & Billy Sprague. What they co-wrote is very fitting for our current times, so we want to share it with you. Feel free to pass it on. We can all use a kinder world.
“Let’s be a little kinder, colorblinder.
Let your light shine a little brighter
Spread a little feel good, real good
Love to one another.
It starts with you and me
Can we all agree to disagree?
And be a little kinder.”
THE JOURNEY OF A SONG
Songs start from a spark. A phrase. A feeling. A few notes whistled while doing the dishes. Here’s the story of a song begun by a someone who collaborated with one of our faculty in an online session. A sketch turned into a beautiful painting. The song got cut and even won the Grand Prize in a national song contest (way before we held our own)!
