Rebekah White Williams - Writer

Rebekah White Williams was born in Louisville Kentucky, with a passion for writing and singing at a young age.  In pursuit of her dreams, she took a job on tour with Green Day in 2004, in marketing, and since then, White has traveled on over 11 major U.S. tours (including Justin Timberlake, Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield etc.) catching the attention of people such as Mike Scott (world renowned guitarist for Prince, Justin Timberlake) and Printz Board (Black Eyed Peas).

Rebekah has always desired to influence culture through music, whether writing, performing, or leading worship.  She signed her first artist deal in 2007, as a pop recording artist with Beets & Produce, founded by Printz Board of the Black Eyed Peas. She packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles, to work with Board. She has performed all over Los Angeles, in places such as The Hotel Café, and The Whisky A-Go-Go, even sharing the same stage with artists such as Fergie, and Anna Nalick.

Rebekah began writing for other artists after she got her first two song placements on the hit TV show “Majors & Minors”, founded by Evan Bogart (Britney Spears, Jason Derulo, Ryan Tedder). Rebekah co-wrote 2 songs, “Anything” (on itunes now), “Shout Out” (used on episode 2 of Majors & Minors) with David Quinones “DQ” of The Writing Camp, Scotty Granger of Bravo’s “Platinum Hit”, and Justin Grey (Mariah Cary).

Rebekah enjoyed her new found success in writing, and signed a publishing deal with Michael Blanton (Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith) of BE Music & Entertainment, in 2012 to further her opportunities as a songwriter.

To date Rebekah has written with many successful producers such as Clif Magness (Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson), Dapo Torimiro (Justin Bieber, David Archeleto), Jarrod Bettis (One Republic, Adele, Gavin Degraw), Bryan Todd (Ashley Tisdale, David Foster), Pete Amato (The Voice), and Ryan and Smitty (Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown).

She has also found success writing with known songwriters/artists; Robbie Nevil (High School Musical), Richard Harris (Katharine McPhee), Drew Seeley (High School Musical, Another Cinderella Story), & Drew Ryniewicz (X-Factor).

Rebekah spent a good portion of 2013 investing and writing with Ashley Argota (Disney; How to Build a Better Boy, ABC Family; The Fosters, Nickelodeon; True Jackson VP, Bucket & Skinner) for her upcoming album due out at a later date.

Rebekah currently has over 40 songs circulating TV, being played by multiple stations including E entertainment, the Ellen Show, and TMZ, that she co-wrote with Peter Amato, producer on The Voice. She also co-wrote "Music Feels Better" by artist Alexa Aronson, featuring Snoop Dog with multi platinum producer Bryan Todd. The song hit #1 the first week on the Dance Breakout charts.  Rebekah was also a writer and featured vocalist on “I Know it’s too Late,” and “Reach for the Stars,” that aired on “Dance Moms” in 2014.

Even with all the pop writing opportunities, Rebekah still has a heart for the Lord, in writing worship.  Recently Rebekah signed a publishing deal with Curb Word, as a songwriter, and has had worship songs she has written released by Bethel, and Sanctus Real.  Rebekah wrote “Make Room” (Rebekah White Williams, Josh Farros, Lucas Cortazio, Evelyn Cortazio) which is now circulating the Christian Music circles in churches, and is due to be released on the radio sometime next year.

Rebekah still finds success in writing for her own projects.  She released her own worship album “BOLD LOVE”, in 2016 and is currently writing for a duo project with Josh Farro (Paramore) due out sometime in 2020.

Rebekah White Williams loves being a part of music at every level. “Whether I’m helping a young artist find their voice, and their song, or whether I’m writing alone in my living room, I just have to write.” Rebekah now resides in Nashville, TN, and continues to follow her passion for writing songs.
